This week we feature Andy Moor and AVA Recordings’ new sub-label AVA White. AVA White is a sub label of AVA Recordings dedicated to the uplifting and classic side of trance. Curated by A.R.D.I. alongside Andy Moor & Somna. AVA Recordings is renowned for curating melodic progressive dance tracks whose unique qualities set them apart from what is safe in the current dance music climate. Though AVA’s releases have primarily been progressive trance, producers of the faster and uplifting side of things have also found a home in the label through remixes of our releases. AVA has had the great pleasure of hosting the likes of Indecent Noise, Arctic Moon, Bryan Kearney and Adam Ellis amongst many others.
Ten years from its conception, AVA Recordings decided that it was time to branch out and create a home for their uplifting friends & fans. October 1st marked the proud launch of the new label. AVA White emerges as a new haven for the higher BPM, uplifting tracks that will maintain the supreme caliber and quality that the label constantly strives for.
To date, Bjorn Akesson’s remix to Andy Moor & Somna’s ‘Look Back’ broke into the top 20 on beatport helping along the label into what will surely be an exciting 2017.
Leading this new venture is the Polish uplifting maestro who is no stranger to trance fans with his releases on the A State of Trance, WAO138 and Subculture labels. A.R.D.I. takes on the role as A&R of AVA White, with the commitment to continue AVA’s legacy as one of the scene’s most consistent labels.
